Flagler Teen Arrested After Bringing Gun to School, Pointing It at Student
A 15-year-old student from Flagler Palm Coast High School was arrested after authorities say he brought a loaded handgun to school and later pointed it at another student during an off-campus incident.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation on September 5 after a student reported being threatened with a firearm by fellow student Sean Goska Jr. The alleged incident took place in the bathroom of the McDonald’s at Palm Coast Town Center, where several students had gathered after school.
The victim also told deputies they believed Goska had the weapon with him during the school day. Although Goska was not carrying the firearm when deputies removed him from class, further investigation revealed a now-deleted Instagram video of the incident.
After being confronted with the new information, Goska admitted to pointing the gun and confirmed it was stored in his bedroom closet. Deputies recovered a loaded 9mm CANiK pistol from his home.
Goska was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm on school property, and possession of a firearm by a minor. He was booked into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility and later transferred to the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.
“This is exactly why we have a zero-tolerance policy,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “A 15-year-old with a gun isn’t a game–it’s a danger to everyone around him.”
Flagler Schools Superintendent LaShakia Moore praised the student who reported the incident, saying, “Thanks to our ‘See Something, Say Something’ initiative, a dangerous situation was prevented.”
