Deputies Arrest Two After Recovering Stolen Vehicle at Palm Coast Gas Station
Deputies quickly recovered a stolen car at a Palm Coast gas station, arresting two suspects now facing grand theft and license-related charges.

Flagler County deputies swiftly recovered a stolen car and arrested two suspects Sunday night after spotting the vehicle at a gas station in Palm Coast.
Deputies were alerted around 9 p.m. to a light blue Honda Accord parked at the Circle K on Cypress Point Parkway. The vehicle matched the description of a car recently reported stolen out of Clay County.
When deputies arrived, they found two people inside the vehicle. Both complied with commands to exit the car and were immediately taken into custody without incident.
The driver was identified as Aalac’hia Wise, 23, of Jacksonville, while the passenger was identified as Martin Dixon, 33, of Hollywood, Florida.
Investigators say Dixon gave deputies conflicting stories about how he came to possess the car. At first, he claimed the vehicle belonged to his girlfriend and that he had paid her to use it. Later, he changed his account, saying he had paid off the car in her name and was supposed to deliver it to a dealership in Orange Park.
Both Wise and Dixon were charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle. Deputies also discovered Wise did not have a valid driver’s license, resulting in an additional charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
Wise is being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility on a $3,000 bond, while Dixon is being held on a $2,500 bond.
Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly praised his deputies for their quick response.
“It took only four minutes from the moment our deputies were notified this stolen vehicle was spotted in our county to the moment they put the suspects in handcuffs and recovered the stolen car,” Staly said. “More offenders learned the hard way to not commit a crime and come to Flagler County as you will always visit the Green Roof Inn wearing new jewelry.”
The “Green Roof Inn” is a nickname Staly often uses for the county jail.
